DIRECT BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: By booking, Guest acknowledges and agrees to the Cottage Rules and booking terms. A signed Rental Agreement and copy of a valid government-issued photo ID are required to complete the direct-booking process. The reservation will be confirmed by Host after all required booking documents have been received. SMOKING, VAPING & OPEN FLAMES No smoking, vaping, candles, incense or other open flames are permitted anywhere on the property. The propane barbecue may be used by adults and must remain attended while in use. Please turn off both the burners and propane tank after use. DOGS & PET SUPERVISION Dogs are the only pets permitted. Maximum of one dog per reservation unless otherwise approved by Host in advance. There is a $100/pet fee per reservation. Dogs must be kept on a leash and under adult supervision whenever outside. Coyotes and other wildlife are regularly present in the area and can pose a serious danger to pets, including during daylight hours. Dogs must never be left outside unattended or allowed to roam the property. Please use the mulched areas around the property for pet relief rather than the lawn or landscaped areas.Dog urine can seriously damage the grass. If your dog will not use the designated area, please walk your dog off the property for bathroom needs. Guests are responsible for the actual cost of repairing pet-related damage to the lawn, landscaping, cottage or furnishings. Dogs may not be left unattended inside the cottage unless appropriately crated. The bathroom, shower or other areas of the cottage may not be used as a substitute for a crate. Please do not bathe dogs in the cottage shower. Due to guest allergy considerations, dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture, and cottage bed or bath linens may not be used as pet bedding. A dog rug/bed and disposable puppy pads can be provided upon request. Doggy waste bags are available outside the cottage in a white bin to the left of the front door. Please dispose of used bags and puppy pads in the large garbage bins behind the front house, just off the pathway to the cottage. All dogs staying at the property must have current vaccinations as required by applicable law. Dogs with a known history of biting, barking uncontrollably, aggression or dangerous behavior are not permitted. SERVICE & ASSISTANCE ANIMALS Service and assistance animals will be accommodated as required by applicable law and applicable booking-platform policies. Certain ordinary pet rules or fees may not apply to qualifying assistance animals. . Guests remain responsible for keeping animals under control and for actual damage caused during the stay, as permitted by law. WILDLIFE, FOOD & INSECTS This is a residential garden property located in this unincorporated are of Orange county and not inside city limits, and guests may occasionally see wildlife such as coyotes, skunks, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, rabbits, rats/mice, lizards and insects. Please do not feed wildlife. Because this is a garden property, occasional insects may enter when exterior doors are opened. Guests may remove them as needed or contact Host for assistance. So as to not attract wildlife and insects, do not leave human food, drinks (or spills of drinks), pet food, food containers or garbage outdoors. Please place garbage in the large bins behind the front house. Keep doors and screens closed to help prevent insects or wildlife from entering the cottage. Occasional outdoor insects or wildlife are a natural part of the area and are not evidence of inadequate property maintenance. If a critter enters the cottage or you need assistance, please contact Host. The garden waterfall and stream are currently turned off as part of mosquito control. Mosquito spray is available inside the bathroom vanity for guests who choose to use it. PLUMBING Cooking grease, oil, food waste and other materials must be placed in the trash and not poured down drains. Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products or other materials, including products labeled “flushable.” Guests will be responsible for the actual cost of clearing or repairing a blockage caused by prohibited materials. HAIR DYE Please do not use hair dye in the spa shower or bathroom where it could permanently stain the natural travertine. HOUSEKEEPING & LINENS Weekly housekeeping is not included in the nightly rate. Additional housekeeping may be arranged in advance for an additional charge. For stays longer than one week, an additional set of clean bed linens is provided in the built-in closet drawers. EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECKOUT Early check-in and late checkout may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and advance Host approval. Please contact Host in advance to request either option. Unauthorized late checkout is charged at $50 per hour, or portion thereof, after the scheduled 12:00 PM checkout time. If a late departure prevents or materially disrupts a same-day incoming reservation, the guest may also be responsible for resulting documented costs or losses. PARTIES, EVENTS & COMMERCIAL USE No parties or events are permitted. Commercial photography, professional photo shoots, filming or other commercial use of the property requires advance written approval from Host.
