Upon Request Guest May Have the Option To Delay Check Out Time With Prior Owner Approval. Extra Hourly Charges May Be Imposed At Owner's Discretion Based On When Next Guest Is To Arrive. Any approved check out extension of more than 2 hours after 12 noon will be charged at $25/hour or no more than another day's charge for every 24 hours. Unapproved late checkouts shall be charged at $50/hour.

House Rules

No Candles, Vaping, or Smoking Anywhere On Property

Pets: Only dogs are allowed to stay here. Owner is allergic to cats. If your dog is under 25 pounds, they are preapproved. We have a designated doggy potty space outside for pet restroom. Do not use yard grass as a pet bathroom. If your dog uses puppy pads, that is ok. Other than that, please ask if it is ok to bring your particular breed and size pet with you before booking. Do Not Use Inside Shower To Bathe Dog. Do not leave your pet unattended inside the cottage unless dog is crated, nor let freely roam the yard or anywhere outside due to city and management restrictions. Pets should always be on leash when outdoors.

Wildlife: You may see or encounter occasional wildlife animals such as coyotes, skunks, our wild resident bunny rabbit, possums, small lizards, raccoons, squirrels, etc during your stay. Do NOT FEED these animals, please! Be vigilant about not leaving any food stuffs outdoors. Always deposit garbage into large garbage container bins located behind front house.

Note: Insects may be encountered outside (like any place on earth) and opening or leaving front door open will invite them in, as well as wildlife. The water fall and stream have been turned off due to the water attracting mosquitos. We have provided mosquito spray found inside the bathroom vanity cabinet for your use should you so choose to use.

Note: Due to some guest allergy issues, pets are not allowed on beds or furniture and, bed & bath linens are not to be used as a dog bed. No more than 1 pet can stay at cottage at any one time.

Take care to dispose of cooking or any grease into trash, not down the drains. Likewise, do not flush any other waste (other than human) down toilet. Clearing of any toilet or waste drain clogs will be entirely at guest expense.

Maid Service: Daily maid service is not priced into our rates, so if you'd like daily/weekly maid service check with Mary to set it up for you.

We do provide free extra disposable puppy pads and plastic poop bags (green color) outside, next to front door in cabinet..

Hair Dye Usage: Please do not use hair dye in Spa Shower as the back travertine wall can be stained permanently.

No parties or events unless preapproved by Property Management onsite.

Payment Policy

Upon Booking, Guest Agrees They Have Reviewed and Accepted Our Cottage Rules, Signed the Rental Agreement, Paid The Security/Damage Deposit, and Emailed Owner A Copy of their Driver's License or Other Form Of government ID At Time of Booking. Host Will Confirm Receipt Of These Documents From Guest Submission. Once All Documents Have Been Confirmed Received By Host, Booking Will Be Confirmed With Guest.

Damage Deposit Policy

As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Guest Booking Can Be Cancelled With A Full Refund Back To Guest If Cancellation Occurs Within 24 hours of booking, Or At The Latest, 14 Days Prior To Day Of Check In, Unless Guest Has Selected "Houfy Protect" In their Booking. Otherwise, No Refund Will Be Returned To Guest Except Under Very Limited Circumstances, Which Is Entirely Up To Owner Of Property.

This Home Is More Complete Than Most Vacation Homes. It Is Truly A Sanctuary For Guests, As Well As A Quiet Environment For Remote Working Or Relaxation.
